Prof. Stafford Beer (1926-2002), Inventor of Syntegration, has already started in the 1940s to experiment with new and alternative approaches for designing and managing organizations and for integrating the dispersed knowledge of experts.

When developing his models and methods, Stafford Beer learned from such different disciplines as Cybernetics, Bionics and Architecture. In developing Syntegration, he copied the structural principles of nature.

In his last published book "Beyond Dispute: The invention of Team Syntegrity" (Wiley 1994), Beer describes the principles of Syntegration and explains the fascinating scientific foundation, on which this revolutionary method is based upon.
